Finding That Word

March 14, 2011.  Earthquakes have just ravaged Japan.

Newt Gingrich has gone too far this time. Like many of us, he loves the sound of his own voice and the brilliance of his own ideas. His own thoughts ring like the Liberty Bell in his own brain. But this time he has gone too far. He is calling President Obama a "Kenyan Anti-Colonialist".
I know what Newt Gingrich means. I'm from the south. I know this kind of talk. This is an American Abolitionist talking. A "Kenyon Anti-Colonialist". Nice, Newt!

Having been raised Irish Catholic, I am always very interested in what's going on in the church, and lord knows there's a lot going on in the church. Too much.
So when the church has a dispute with an excommunicated priest who wants to lead a parish in distress, I perk right up!

Today is August 14, 2010 and I am in Cleveland playing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Oh that's me for sure, the rock'n roller from Baltimore.
I was reading today about the Runaway Train in the London underground and that is the topic of today's sermon.

Today is August 10, 2010 and some people in the US are getting very upset about immigrants having children and these immediately becoming citizens upon birth. Pow! You're born! Bam! You're a citizen! I think it's great. It worked nicely for me back in 1940, even though my parents were already citizens, I believe.

Today, January 23 we discuss Gay Marriage, The National Enquirer, Banks, and other stuff found in The Wall Street Journal.

(Video slightly fuzzy today. Sorry and no more!)

Today's blog is recorded in our car as I await in an 11 AM spot so I can then leave the car right here until Tuesday if I so desire.

Thanks for stopping by,

Jay
