Moralizing People

I’ve had it up to here with moralizing people, who
Talk the talk but fail to walk the walk,
I’m really sick and tired they all should be fired,
Those who tend to cheat and lie and stalk.

Those who moralize so, perpetuate the lies so, a-
bout how the moral man should function,
Praising the Almighty while they slip off someone’s nightie and per-
foming a special extreme unction.

I’m sick and tired of liars who while preaching to the choirs,
Lead private lives of such depravity,
These liars and tale spinners while denouncing all us sinners,
Try to deny the laws of gravity.

With no need for the math, they know thew chosen path,
Glory for themselves and chosen cronies.
While their private lives, those incestuous bee hives,
Flush them out as hypocrites and phonies.

I’ve had it up to here with moralizing people, who
Only seem to lead the world astray. So
Devoid of moral fiber, still they dunk you in the Tiber, whilst
Knowing God is showing them the way.

Oh the lives they are lead and the ways of life they breed,
Are full of lies that do no good.
I prefer a quiet man who attempts to be generous and
Truly tries to live the life he should.
