Might we discuss democracy?

 Might we discuss democracy in the few minutes that remain? Because the

End game of it all seems to me so very plain,

Donald Trump will find a way sooner or later

To make himself our country’s first dictator.

I wish this was hyperbole or gross exaggeration, but 

Trump will only quickly lead our country into ruination

There will be no saving grace in a future President Trump. 

Only chaos from this ignorant chump.

For his only real concern is himself, not you and me

He has made this very clear, clear as it can be.

Trump will plunder and ravage and take advantage of the best of us 

And the MAGA world will suffer like the rest of us. 

He has no concerns about how others might be faring

Taking all that he can steal, never sharing, caring.

No philosophy whatsoever does burden his blank soul

Self-survival is his only goal.

We’re letting an ignorant grifter become our country’s leader, 

Letting democracy get destroyed, by a a fraud, a cheater.

He’s after retribution there’s vengeance in his heart

He’s going to tear us all apart.

No cares about democracy or the Constitution

Vengeance is his one and only deep dark resolution

Trump will only lead us into total ruination a

Tragic end to our wondrous nation.

Is it all because civics is no longer taught? 

Have all the wars defending democracy all been fought for naught 

He must not be shielded, must not be protected,

Most of all he must not be elected.

The Fraudster

I need to tell you something, and I beg you to take note it’s 

Never been more important for all of us to vote.

One of our candidates cheers democracy, the other plans to ruin it. And 

If elected the one named Trump will waste no time in doing it. 

This isn’t just a song of convenience a ditty to make you laugh 

If Trump gets into office, he’ll rip this country in half. 

Lots of people don’t believe it, can’t imagine it could be true,

But he has clearly told us that is what he plans to do.

Many people do not understand the threat could not be greater. 

Trump has made it very clear he plans to be dictator.

Half of you will not believe me you’ll think I’m out of my mind.

But if we elect this ignorant fraudster he’s going to rob us blind.

The grifter Trump is running for president now that he’s put on bail

But he will single-handedly ruin our country, absolutely, without fail.

He doesn’t care about you and me, he does not wish us well. We 

Have to vote him into oblivion, vote him into hell.

There Sat Donald Trump

There’s sat Donald Trump in the dining room of his hotel, 

Angry and bored out of his mind.

A less likely candidate for President  

Would be very hard to find. 

Just sitting there with Marla Maples, their

Ship of matrimony obviously creaking, 

The band was playing happy bouncy jazz,

He and Marla were not even speaking. 

He made a strong impression on us, His 

Boredom clear for all to see and 

How he loathed our happy, jazzy music 

Just as bored, as he could be. 

There’s sat the hustler, the grifter, the liar, the

mug shot master hating our little band. 

Who would ever imagine that a guy who hated our jazzy music

Would become the leader of the land?
